Description
The Aleatico Alea Ludendo was born in Poggio Turco in the vineyards of Fattoria delle Ripalte, on the coast of the Elba island.
It is produced 100% with Aleatico grapes, harvested in the first week of September and left to dry on racks for a week, in direct sunlight. After a brief maceration on the skins, a slow fermentation continues until it stops naturally due to the substantial residual sugar content. This is followed by aging in steel and bottling in the summer following the harvest.
Aleatico Alea Ludendo has a dense and consistent amber color. The nose opens aggressively with bold notes of caramelized fruit and floral hints. In the mouth it is much more complex, with sensations that follow one another of fruit and jam; excellent balance and good sapid component.
Ideal with desserts and dry pastries, excellent in combination with aged cheeses.
