Description

Banfi Chianti Classico is a Tuscan red wine made from the traditional grape varieties of the region, with a clear predominance of Sangiovese. It is a wine deeply rooted in the winemaking culture of Chianti, an authentic expression of a terroir rich in history and vocations.

Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of between 25 and 30°C, to enhance the integrity of the fruit and maintain the aromatic balance. After fermentation, the wine refines in the same tanks with a short subsequent passage in wood, a choice that helps to develop structure and complexity without overpowering the varietal freshness.

In appearance, it shows a deep mauve red color. The aroma is complex and rich, dominated by notes of red fruits, especially cherry and blackberry. On the palate, it is well-structured, with integrated tannins and remarkable softness, accompanied by a long and persistent finish that confirms the overall elegance of the wine.

Perfectly pairs with typical Tuscan dishes.
