Alsace Grand Cru AOC Riesling Turckheim Brand 2014 Zind Humbrecht

The Riesling Brand Grand Cru of the Domaine Zind-Humbrecht originates from the Gran Cru Brand, located near Turckheim, in Alsace.

It consists of 100% Riesling Renano, coming from vineyards with an average age of 64 years. This sunny area is defined by a rather mild climate and by a granite soil with a clayey presence. Alcoholic fermentation is conducted very slowly by indigenous yeasts.

It appears of a golden yellow color of excellent intensity and brightness. The bouquet is fruity, in citrus and yellow peach tones, finished with mineral notes. The structure is full and dense, kept tense and vertical by a fresh-savory texture of great elegance. It persists in the citrus and fresh memory.

Perfect with an amberjack fillet on asparagus cream.
