Description

The Alta Langa Brut Cuvée 36 Months by Gancia is a high-end sparkling wine produced using the Metodo Classico, made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes grown in the hills of Alta Langa. This wine represents one of the finest expressions of the Piedmontese sparkling wine tradition, crafted according to rigorous quality standards in the Gancia Historical Cellars.

The grapes are gently pressed using the traditional Marmonnier press, vinifying only the free-run must. The must is fermented in both barriques and steel tanks before being assembled into the cuvée. The second fermentation occurs in the bottle with selected yeasts, followed by aging on the lees for at least 36 months in controlled thermal conditions.

It has a bright straw yellow color, with a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet is harmonious and intense, with notes of fruit, fresh yeast, and bread crust; on the palate, it is dry, fresh, and well-balanced, with a lively acidity that imparts great elegance.

Excellent with aged cheeses, mushroom risottos, or main courses based on white meat.
