Description

Fontanafredda's Alta Langa 164 is a Metodo Classico sparkling wine produced in the Alta Langa hills with Pinot Nero grapes. On the occasion of the 164th birthday, the label shows a digitized lithograph of the Fontanafredda estate between 1900 and 1918.

Once in the cellar, the grapes undergo soft pressing. The must is then fermented in steel vats and refermented in the bottle, where it remains to refine on its lees for 105 months.

Of a beautiful golden yellow colour with greenish reflections, on the nose there are aromas of wildflower honey, white pulp fruit, spices, bread crust and dried fruit. Great structure and good balance between fresh and savory sensations make it enveloping and harmonious, with a long finish.
