Description

The Vittorio Fiore farm is located on the Ruffoli hill, in the area between Panzano and Greve in Chianti, in the heart of the Sangiovese lands. The vines are cultivated on terraces located between 350 and 550 meters above sea level, with exposure facing west and south west.

The wine comes from a selection of the best grapes of the old Carbonaione vineyard, with vines over 80 years old rooted on sandy and silty soils, rich in skeleton. At the end of the classic red vinification, the wine matures for 14 months in large oak barrels and ends the refinement with at least 6 months in the bottle.

It is a rich and intense Sangiovese, with a dark ruby color, with aromas of black cherry, wild berries, cherries in alcohol, humus and spices. Structured and persistent, it impresses with the power of the sip and the aromatic complexity.

To be paired with game and roast beef.
