Description

The Alto Adige Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva of the Cru Linticlarus line of Tiefenbrunner was born in vineyards located south of Niclara, in the province of Bolzano.

It is produced exclusively with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in barriques, for 6 months in large oak barrels and for a further 2 years in the bottle, before being marketed.

Tiefenbrunner's Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva Linticlarus has a deep garnet red color. The nose opens with pleasant aromas of berries, black currant and cranberry, enriched with notes of eucalyptus, tobacco and mint. On the palate it is soft and complex, with well integrated tannins and a salty and persistent aftertaste.

Perfect to accompany grilled and roasted red meats, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
