Description

The Pinot Blanc Plötzner from Kellerei St. Pauls was born in one of the most beautiful wine areas of South Tyrol.

It is produced exclusively with Pinot Bianco grapes, a grape variety cultivated in South Tyrol for a century. The grapes are fermented at controlled temperatures in wooden barrels and aged for 5-6 months on fine yeasts.

The Plötzner owes its aromatic complexity to the strong temperature variations between day and night and to the deep limestone soils of the high hills. The nose opens with notes of apple and peach, enriched with hints of apricot and pear nuances. In the mouth it has a good acidity and minerality.

Perfect as an aperitif, this wine goes well with light first courses and is ideal in combination with fish dishes.
