Description

The Alto Adige Pinot Nero of St. Michael Eppan was born in the Appiano and Caldaro vineyards located in Trentino Alto Adige.

It is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently the wine is aged in oak barrels.

This Pinot Noir is characterized by a ruby red color with garnet hues. The nose opens with fresh and fruity aromas of berries, raspberries and blackberries. On the palate it is pleasantly compact, with a beautiful elegant structure.

Perfect to accompany roasts, stews and aged cheeses, it is ideal in combination with veal, sheep and kid liver.
