Description

The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Capitel della Crosara by Montresor is a wine of great structure and elegance, born in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica hills from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes. It is a sumptuous red, a symbol of the Veronese winemaking tradition and perfect for great occasions.

The vinification process involves manual harvesting of the grapes between September and October, followed by drying in crates for about three months. Fermentation is traditional, with destemming, soft crushing and long maceration on the skins. The wine matures in wood for about three years, followed by refining in the bottle.

It presents an intense ruby red color. The aroma offers hints of ripe red fruit and balsamic notes, while the taste is dry and warm, with shades of spices, licorice, blackberry, and ripe cherry, in a balance of power and finesse.

It elegantly accompanies meat dishes, game and aged cheese.
