Description

The Amarone Classico della Valpolicella of Tenute Salvaterra is born in the vineyards of the Venetian company located in the heart of the hamlet of Prun, within the unique micro-territory of the denomination.

This wine is made by a skilful blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone grapes, classic of this magnificent terroir, hand-picked and then left to dry in the fruit cellar for 3-4 months. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 18-20 ° C for about 30 days. Then the wine ages for 36 months in barriques, large barrels and steel, where it stabilizes and refines its organoleptic characteristics.

Salveterra's Classic Amarone is characterized by a medium intensity ruby red color. The nose offers a large and delicate fruity aroma, with notes of cherry and black currant that are clearly distinguishable. In the mouth its richness and depth emerge, a lot of harmony even if young, with fruity sensations that accompany towards a complex finish.

Wine well prepared for aging, it prefers tasty dishes such as game, red meats and aged cheeses but it also lends itself very well as a meditation companion.
