Description

The Pinot Noir of the Alpha Estate is made with 100% grapes in the northwestern area of Macedonia.

After manual harvesting, the grapes are de-stemmed and lightly pressed for a first cold maceration. Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts and the wine remains in contact with the fine lees for at least 8 months. This is followed by 12 months of ageing in French oak barrels and another 12 months of ageing in bottle before being marketed.

Intense ruby red, with hints of dark cherry, plum, coconut, toasted almond. Of great balance on the palate, it has a remarkable structure and great freshness, with gentle tannins and a long finish.

Suitable for all white meats such as chicken and turkey, it can enhance duck accompanied by stewed vegetables.
