Description
This Pinot Noir originates from the prestigious Anderson Valley, a wine region renowned for producing wines of the highest quality, located about 100 kilometers north of the Kosta Browne winery. The landscape, characterized by mysterious rivers, steep ridges, and majestic hills, offers ideal conditions for viticulture. The selected vineyards, including Cerise, Knez, Demuth, and Gowan Creek, lend the wine an authentic and profound representation of the territory.
The winemaking process is predominantly conducted in stainless steel, complemented by fermentations in concrete and wooden barrels, to enhance the freshness and rusticity of the terroir. Aging takes place for 13 months in new French oak barriques and large wooden casks, creating a balance between intensity and delicacy that enriches the wine's structure.
The nose reveals intense aromas of wild blackberry, accompanied by herbaceous nuances and slight hints of oak. On the palate, it bursts with a vibrant energy of dark cherry, blueberry, violet, and red currant, all wrapped in a rich and persistent texture.
It pairs perfectly with game-based dishes or roasted red meats.
