Barbaresco Asili DOCG 2018 Bruno Giacosa

Expression of one of the most prestigious crus of Barbaresco, it is a now legendary label, signed by a great master of Langhe wines. The grapes are harvested in a parcel located at an altitude of about 250 meters above sea level with a warm south-west exposure, characterized by calcareous marl rich in sand.

The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks with a maceration on the skins for a couple of weeks. According to tradition, the aging of the wine is entrusted to a stay of 18-24 months in large oak barrels and a subsequent period in the bottle.

In the glass it is ruby red and the refined bouquet releases delicate floral notes, hints of helichrysum and medicinal herbs, aromas of morello cherry and currant. The sip is clear and elegant, harmonious and balanced, with a fresh and savory finish.

To be combined with braised agnolotti and game on the spit.
