Description

One of the most famous labels of Angelo Gaja, visionary and enterprising producer who has been able to enhance the Langhe territory like no other. Faithful to the goal of producing only the finest wines, he has created a range of now legendary labels. The Costa Russi vineyard is located in the municipality of Barbaresco and represents one of the best crus on the estate.

The bunches, rigorously selected, are fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The long maturation process includes 12 months in barrique, 12 months in large barrels and an aging of about 12 months in the bottle.

The result is a ruby and floral Barbaresco, which smells of violet and dried rose petals, of officinal and balsamic herbs, on a background of raspberry and morello cherry. The sip is elegant and harmonious, delicate and pleasantly fresh.

To be combined with braised agnolotti, tagliatelle with game sauce and noble poultry.
