Description
The Barbaresco Riserva Ovello by Produttori del Barbaresco is a Nebbiolo produced from vineyards grown in the Langhe, with a south-west / west exposure, on clay-limestone soils which contribute to creating a wine of profound complexity.
Fermentation takes place in steel at 30°C for 28 days with a long maceration on the skins, to extract colors, aromas and tannins. Once the malolactic fermentation is completed, the wine matures for 30 months in oak barrels, refining for a further 12 months in the bottle.
It has a ruby red color. The nose reveals intensely spicy and fruity notes. In the mouth, the structure is imposing with an intense tannin that promises a favorable evolution over time.
An ideal companion for structured first courses, red meats and game, it harmonizes perfectly with the richness and complexity of these dishes.
