Description
Barbera D'Asti Superiore La Luna and Falò di Vite Colte was born in the renowned company vineyards located in Asti, Piedmont.
It is produced entirely from Barbera grapes, selected and harvested entirely by hand. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 28 - 30 ° C for about 15 days, which is quickly followed by the start of malolactic fermentation. Aging takes place in barriques for about 12 months, during which this Barbera with a robust structure further enriches.
Barbera D'Asti Superiore La Luna and Falò is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with an elegant and harmonious bouquet with hints of violet, licorice and vanilla. On the palate it is full, soft and pleasantly dry. This wine is enriched with a refined base of vanilla and berries that support the rightly persistent finish.
Excellent to serve with mushrooms, cold meats and salami, it is ideal with baked chicken and grilled red meats.
