Description

Bricco Battista is an expression of Barbera from the Piedmont area of Monferrato, on the border with Lombardy.

It consists of 100% Barbera grapes, grown in a hilly area, subject to good sun exposure and light ventilation. It is vinified in steel, with an alcoholic fermentation period of about 15 - 20 days. Follows the spontaneously triggered malolactic fermentation and an aging of 18 months in tonneaux.

The sight is intense and dark ruby red. The olfactory profile is painted in tones of red and forest fruit, spices and chocolate notes. The sip is full-bodied and intense, dominated by the lively and precise freshness. It closes in a memory of wild berries.

Perfect with a dish of tajarin with ragù.
