Description
Aldo Conterno is one of the most famous and highly rated wineries in the Langhe, known for its wines with a classic and traditional profile, an authentic expression of the spirit of the territory. The Romirasco vineyard is over 50 years old and is located in the famous Bussia di Monforte d'Alba cru, facing south, south-west and characterized by fine limestone-clayey soils.
After a long fermentation with maceration on the skins, the Barolo rests for more than 3 years in large Slavonian oak barrels before being bottled.
Faithful to the best traditions of the great terroir of Bussia, it is a powerful and structured Barolo, with a garnet color and an elegant bouquet, with aromas of cherry, currant, humus and spices. The taste is intense, with important tannins and a notable aromatic complexity.
To be paired with braised meat in red wine and game.
