Barolo Chinato DOCG Il Diavolo sulle Colline Vite Colte
Description
The Barolo Chinato Il Diavolo on the hills of the Terredavino Company was born in the renowned production area of Barolo, in Piedmont.
It is entirely produced from Barolo grapes, a blend that gives elegance and character to the wine. Maceration takes place for about 20 days at a controlled temperature of maximum 30 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages in oak barrels for at least 2 years before being bottled.
Barolo Chinato from Azienda Terredavino is produced with the addition of a natural infusion of China Calissaja bark, rhubarb root and other aromatic herbs. It is characterized by an intense garnet red color. The nose opens with refined hints of spices and aromatic herbs. Its scent is pleasantly broad, complex and ethereal. On the palate it is round and velvety, giving a pleasantly bitter aftertaste.
Perfect to serve with cold cuts and cured meats, this flavored red wine is ideal with grilled red meats and truffle-based recipes. It goes perfectly with stewed meats and polenta.
