Description
The Barolo from Lorenzo Accomasso is made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards located in La Morra, in historic crus such as Annunziata and Rocche dell’Annunziata, on clay-rich soils with blue marls and limestone.
The vinification follows traditional methods, with spontaneous fermentation in steel and prolonged aging: the base Barolo undergoes aging for at least 24 months in large wooden barrels, completed by rest in the bottle.
In the glass, it typically shows a light garnet red color; on the nose, complex aromas of cherry in spirit, small red fruits, orange peel, tobacco, dried herbs, licorice, sweet spices, and balsamic notes evolving into leather and violet petals are revealed. On the palate, it stands out for its great elegance, silky tannins, vibrant freshness, and a long and intense persistence, deeply connected to the territory.
Splendid in pairing with great dishes of game and stewed red meats, pot roasts, and braised meats; it also pairs well with well-aged cheeses.
