Description
Luciano Sandrone's winery produces labels that faithfully reflect the great tradition of the Langhe, interpreted with an authentic artisan passion. The estate is based in Barolo, but owns vineyards in different areas of the appellation. Aleste is the purest and most authentic expression of the historic vineyards owned, grown in the Cannubi Boschis cru, which has always been renowned for the superior quality of its grapes.
Fermentation takes place spontaneously in open steel vats. The wine ages for at least two years in French oak tonneau and completes the refinement with 18 months in the bottle.
The result is a garnet-colored Barolo, intense and complex, with aromas of berries, cherries, humus, soft spices, cocoa and licorice nuances. Powerful and deep, it gives a structured and very persistent sip.
To combine with braised meat or stewed game.
