Description
Historic brand of a family that has been involved in viticulture in the Langhe since the nineteenth century, Giuseppe Rinaldi has established himself as one of the most important exponents of the great Barolo tradition. The estate owns parcels in prized areas of the appellation and produces wines with a classic character.
The label is made with grapes that come from two different crus: Brunate, located on the border with the territory of La Morra and Le Coste, located south of the village of Barolo. Fermentation takes place in oak vats, with maceration on the skins for about 25 days. The wine ages in large Slavonian oak barrels for 3 or 4 years before being bottled.
Bright garnet red, it offers subtle aromas of violet, aromas of cherries, berries, balsamic hints and medicinal herbs. On the palate it has fine and well integrated tannins, complex and elegant aromas, which anticipate a balanced and persistent finish.
To combine with roast meats or beef stew.
