Description
Giacomo Fenocchio's Barolo Cannubi was born in vineyards located in the lands of Barolo in Piedmont, from a company that concentrates its production around the great red wines.
It is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, harvested in the first days of October. Fermentation takes place naturally without adding yeasts in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for about 30 days. It ages for about 6 months in stainless steel tanks, then in barriques for 30 months.
Cannubi is characterized by an intense garnet red color with ruby nuances. The nose opens with a rich and elegant bouquet, with fruit aromas and floral scents, enriched by warm and intense spicy hints. On the palate it is elegant and pleasantly velvety.
It is perfect to accompany aged cheeses, it is ideal in combination with game and red meats.
