Description
The Barolo Bricco Ambrogio DiNoi by Negretti is a prestigious red wine produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes from the MGA of the same name located in Roddi, in the Langhe. The vineyards, planted in 1950 on white, marly, calcareous soils, are situated at an altitude of 250 to 270 meters with southern exposure.
The vinification involves the use of indigenous yeasts in the vineyard and fermentation in contact with the skins for 25-30 days in Austrian oak barrels, at a controlled temperature between 27°C and 30°C. The malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously, giving the wine naturalness and complexity.
It appears with an intense ruby color with amaranth reflections. The bouquet is deep and intricate, with hints of roots, rhubarb, undergrowth, and blue plum, followed by accents of cinchona and spicy touches. On the palate, it is full and vibrant, with a dense and well-integrated tannic texture that supports a sip that is austere yet dynamic, perfectly in line with the identity of a high-class Barolo.
Perfect to pair with significant roasts, braised dishes, or meals based on game and truffle.
