Barolo DOCG Tebavio 2010 Tenuta L'Illuminata
Description
The Barolo Tebavio of Tenuta l'Illuminata was born in the vineyards located in the La Mora area, in Piedmont.
It is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand in mid-October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for the first 12 months in French oak barrels, for another 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels and finally for 12 months in bottle before being placed on the market.
This Barolo has a bright and intense garnet red color, with light orange reflections. The nose is broad, enriched with hints of violet, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla and cherry. On the palate it is full, harmonious and dry with a persistent and delicately fruity finish.
Perfect to accompany appetizers, risotto with mushrooms and sausage, it is ideal in combination with grilled red meat.
