Description

The history of the Cavallotto family has always been linked to the famous Bricco Boschis hill in Castiglione Falletto. The estate is located in this wonderful corner of the Langhe and includes plots of exceptional value. Vigna San Giuseppe is located near the winery and thanks to a perfect sunny exposure and precious soils, it brings grapes with rich and intense aromas to ripeness.

At the end of the vinification with maceration on the skins for about 30 days, the Barolo matures in large Slavonian oak barrels for 4 or 5 years and ends the refinement with 12 months in the bottle.

It is a complex and structured wine, with a garnet color and characterized by floral and spicy aromas, on a background of small red berried fruits. The sip, deep and long, is harmonious and rich, with mature and evolved tannins.

To be paired with game and braised in red wine.
