Description

Vietti is a historical name of the Langhe, present for centuries in the territory of Castiglione Falletto, where it produces great wines in the name of tradition. The Villero Riserva label is the maximum expression of this famous cru, which has always been renowned for giving superior quality grapes.

It is an old vineyard of almost fifty years facing south, south-west and characterized by soils of precious light and bluish marl of calcareous-clayey matrix. At the end of fermentation in steel vats at a controlled temperature, the wine rests for 3 years in large Slavonian oak barrels and ages for 60 months in the bottle.

Intense and complex is a Barolo of great texture, with a garnet color, reminiscent of aromas of cherry fruits, berries, spicy hints, star anise, licorice root, nuances of humus and toasted memories. On the palate it has a remarkable structure, with ripe tannins, evolved and very persistent aromas.

To be combined with braised beef and stewed beef.
