Description

What kind of wine is it

Artumes by Tenuta di Artimino is a Tuscan white wine made from a blend of Trebbiano Toscano and Petit Manseng. It stands out for its fresh and harmonious profile, with notes of ripe white fruit and citrus nuances. Fermentation in stainless steel and aging on fine lees with periodic batonnage gives it complexity and structure while preserving a natural elegance. Ideal for pairing with fish dishes and grilled vegetables.

Where does it come from

The grapes for Artumes come from the fertile alluvial soils of Tenuta di Artimino. This area has a long winemaking history with Etruscan roots.

How it is produced

The grapes are harvested and transported to the cellar with dry ice to preserve their aromas. After gentle pressing, the must remains at low temperature for clarification. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperature, followed by two months of aging on fine lees with batonnage. This process enhances the varietal freshness and enriches the wine’s structure.

Tasting notes

On visual inspection, Artumes has a straw yellow color with greenish highlights. The nose reveals intense aromas of yellow flowers, ripe peach and citrus notes. On the palate, it offers a savory and crisp texture, with medium body and a balance between freshness and smoothness. The finish is clean and persistent, with a pleasant citrus note.

What to pair it with

The versatility of Artumes allows it to pair with a wide variety of dishes. It matches well with baked or grilled white fish and grilled vegetables, enhancing the freshness and savoriness of the preparations.

When to serve it

It is recommended to enjoy while young to appreciate its acidity and varietal aromas. Perfect for convivial moments in spring and summer, it accompanies many occasions with lightness and balance.
