Description
Bolgheri Bianco “Lungocosta” by Caccia al Piano is a white wine made from Vermentino and Sauvignon Blanc grapes cultivated in the coastal area of Bolgheri, a region renowned for its winemaking tradition and its ability to produce elegant and fresh wines. The proximity to the sea and favorable climatic conditions help preserve acidity and aromatic complexity.
The vinification process includes manual harvesting in small crates and different processing methods for the two varieties, with gentle pressing for Vermentino and cold maceration for Sauvignon Blanc. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, followed by a maturation period in various containers, including barrels, barriques, and amphorae, before the final blending.
It appears bright straw yellow in color. The bouquet is fresh and complex, with hints of Mediterranean fruit, citrus, and light aromatic notes. On the palate, it is balanced, fresh, and savory, with good structure and an elegant persistence.
It pairs perfectly with fish dishes, shellfish, and light Mediterranean cuisine.
