Chassagne-Montrachet AOC Chambrées 2018 Caroline Morey

The Chambrées is produced in Burgundy by the Domaine Caroline Morey. Caroline comes from a family of winemakers in the region and inherited 7 hectares of vineyard from her father in 2014. Wine of the highest level, with attention to the smallest details, Chassagne Montrachet Blanc is produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes.

The wine is vinified by limiting the interventions, so as to preserve the freshness and finesse of the wine: no bâtonnage is practiced, the malolactic fermentation is not induced by heat and the wine is not filtered. It is aged in large wooden containers called "demi-muids".

In the glass the wine has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose opens with floral, mineral and slightly buttery notes. The taste is dry and structured, with a good persistence.

Thanks to its freshness and flavor, this wine is ideal in combination with grilled fish and grilled white meats, seasoned with lemon and extra virgin olive oil.
