Description
The Burgundy LaForêt Pinot Noir of Drohuin comes from vineyards located in the heart of the Burgundy AOC.
It is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes, harvested only by hand and cultivated following an organic regime. Fermentation takes place with maceration at controlled temperature for 2-3 weeks, with indigenous yeasts. Subsequently the wine ages partly in steel and partly in oak barrels, for 7-8 months. A stabilization in the bottle follows, before being put on the market.
Drohuin 's LaForêt has a ruby red color. The nose offers an intense bouquet of ripe black and red berry fruit, with small spicy notes in the background. In the mouth it is full and silky, with very interesting aromatic notes that facilitate a very pleasant drink.
This Pinot Noir is perfect with not too elaborate red meats, aged cheeses, first courses and white meats.
