Description
The Brunello di Montalcino Capriolo from Terre Nere is an excellent expression of Sangiovese Grosso cultivated in the southeast area of Montalcino, at 280 meters altitude on soils rich in galestro and quartzite. It is a wine that combines power and finesse, the result of meticulous craftsmanship and an exceptional terroir.
The vines are hand-harvested. Vinification involves a long maceration of 40 days in stainless steel, followed by three years of aging in oak barrels and an additional two years in the bottle, achieving a perfect balance between structure and complexity.
It presents itself with a deep ruby color. On the nose, there are intense aromas of ripe cherries and plums, accompanied by delicate notes of vanilla and tobacco. On the palate, it is broad, enveloping, and harmonious, with a beautiful persistence and elegance that define its character.
Ideal with flavorful meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses.
