Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2014 Poggio Salvi

Brunello with a strong personality born from the vineyards of Villa Poggio Salvi, planted on the hills of Montalcino, which enjoy an enviable exposure to the sun's rays.

The harvest takes place in early October in boxes. The grapes are subjected to a preliminary maceration phase at low temperature, then fermentation begins in steel at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C. It ages for 30 months in Slavonian oak barrels then for at least 4 months in glass.

The glass is ruby red in color. Its aroma is fine and intense, with very accentuated hints of red fruit well blended with floral nuances in the background. It is characterized by a round and elegant body, with a long persistence in the finish.

A wine that can afford 30 years in longevity, it is the perfect combination of grilled meats, game, truffles and aged cheeses. Also excellent for meditation.
