Description
This Brunello di Montalcino is a highly prestigious red wine produced in the Tuscan hills around the town of Montalcino. Made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes grown between 350 and 450 meters of altitude, it represents one of the symbols of Italian winemaking excellence, thanks also to the Cecchi family's long experience in enhancing the territory.
The winemaking follows tradition, with a controlled temperature red fermentation and a prolonged maceration of 18 days. The aging involves 24 months in barrique, 20% of which are new, followed by at least another 24 months in the bottle, a process that allows the wine to develop complexity, elegance, and a harmonious structure.
In appearance, it shows an intense ruby red color that tends towards garnet as it ages. The aromatic profile is frank and determined, characterized by typical varietal notes of Sangiovese. On the palate, it is enveloping and balanced, with a well-integrated tannic structure and a persistence that highlights its class and depth.
It pairs perfectly with important dishes, particularly red meat and aged cheeses.
