Description

Brunello di Montalcino di Cerbaiona was born in Cerbaia, in the heart of the famous town of Montalcino, from the so-called "Vigna d'Oro", a small estate of only 3 hectares purchased by the American investor Gary Rieschel for 6 million euros. Brunello Cerbaiona is a legendary wine considered by fans to be a real gem of the entire appellation.

It comes exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected strictly by hand. Fermentation takes place with maceration on the steel skins at controlled temperature. Once the malolactic fermentation is over, the wine ages for 3 years in Slavonian oak barrels and for a further period in the bottle before reaching the market.

Brunello di Montalcino di Cerbaiona is characterized by a particularly intense and bright ruby red color. The nose expresses a beautiful fruity bouquet, accompanied by hints of violet, chocolate and cinnamon. Taken to the mouth, it expresses refined sensations of juiciness and complexity, accompanied by an exuberant tannin that turns towards an endless persistence.

To be served with refined haute cuisine dishes, it also goes well with important red meat dishes, game and aged cheeses.
