Description

Le Potazzine is a small family estate among the most popular in the entire Ilcinese area. The winery is located a few kilometers southwest of the ancient village of Montalcino. The wine comes from the grapes of the two company plots, one grown near the winery, at an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level and the other near Sant'Angelo in Colle, at 420 meters above sea level. and in an area with a milder and more sunny climate.

The vines are conducted in a certified organic farming regime and at the end of the harvest, the best Sangiovese grapes are fermented with a long maceration on the skins for over 30 days. The wine rests in large Slavonian oak barrels for at least 40 months before being bottled.

Classic expression of elegance and harmony, it is presented in the glass of a beautiful ruby red with aromas of violet, morello cherry and officinal herbs. Dressed in a velvety tannic texture, it gives a complex and persistent sip, characterized by a pleasant freshness.

To be combined with roasts, grilled meats and small game.
