Description
The Brunello di Montalcino by Pinino is born from a careful selection of Sangiovese grosso grapes coming from two distinct pedoclimatic zones: the Pinino vineyards, with galestro and alberese rich soils, and the Canchi vineyards, with clayey soils and a presence of silt. The vineyards are located in the north and northeast of Montalcino, at about 280-320 meters of altitude, with a southeast exposure.
Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled steel vats, with maceration on the skins lasting between 18 and 25 days. The wine matures for at least 30 months in oak barrels of various capacities, then continues to age in the bottle before being marketed.
In the glass, it presents an intense ruby red color. On the nose, notes of blackberry and ripe plum intertwine with spicy scents. On the palate, it is velvety, full, and smooth, with a balanced structure and an elegant tannic texture that promises a harmonious evolution over time.
Perfect with meat roasts, game, truffle dishes, and aged cheeses.
