Burgenland Prädikatswein Sämling 88 Trockenbeerenauslese 2012 Tschida
Description
The Sämling 88 Trockenbeerenauslese from the Tschida winery comes from the Austrian region of Burgenland, on the border between Austria and Hungary.
The grapes used for this blend are very particular, available almost exclusively in these areas. This is the Sämling 88 variety or otherwise called Scheurebe, born from the cross between the Riesling Renano and another unidentified grape variety. It is harvested late and subjected to a vinification entirely in steel.
Its color is golden and bright yellow. It opens, on the nose, in hints of tropical fruit, citrus peel and acacia honey. The sip is enveloping, fresh and full of charm, persistent in the texture of dehydrated fruit and hazelnuts.
Perfect to accompany a cutting board of blue cheeses or highly aged cheeses.
