Description

The Buttafuoco of Oltrepò Pavese di Mora Bassa was born in vineyards located in the Pavia area of Montescano, in Lombardy.

It is mainly produced with Croatina grapes and with Barbera, Uva Rara and small additions of Vespolina, manually harvested in boxes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 6 months in barrique and for a further 6 months in bottle, before being marketed.

It has a deep and brilliant ruby red color. The nose opens with a refined and intense aromas of red fruit, cherry and plum. On the palate it is well structured and balanced, with great personality and persistence.

Perfect to accompany tasty and roasted second courses, it is ideal in combination with game and salami.
