Cacc'e Mmitte di Lucera DOC Agramante 2015 Paolo Petrilli
Description
Cacc'e Mmitte di Lucera Agramante by Paolo Petrilli was born in vineyards located in the countryside of Lucera, a historic city in the north of Puglia.
It is produced with Nero di Troia, Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Bombino grapes, harvested between September and October. After a soft pressing and destemming, the grapes ferment at controlled temperature for 9 days, with continuous pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages in stainless steel tanks for 12 months before being bottled.
It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense bouquet, with hints of black cherry and black currant, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is soft, pleasantly intense and persistent.
Perfect to accompany dishes with meat sauce and risotto, it is ideal in combination with stewed meats and aged cheeses.
