Calabria IGT Moscato Passito al Governo di Saracena 2010 Feudo dei Sanseverino

Moscato Passito at the Government of Saracena comes to light from the biodynamic vineyards of Feudi dei Sanseverino, located close to the Pollino National Park, in the Cosenza municipality of Saracena.

It is produced from Malvasia, Guarnaccia, Odoraca and Moscato grapes, all harvested between the end of September and the first week of October, with the exception of Moscato grapes, harvested in advance and left to dry in special rooms and in controlled conditions. The vinification takes place separately for Moscato and other grapes, reunited at the end of the process for a final yield of 50%.

Moscato Passito Government alla Saracena has a beautiful amber color, bright. On the nose it is fragrant and characteristic, with hints of Moscato grapes accentuated by the drying process, with hints of honey, dried figs and exotic fruit. On the palate it offers sweetness and aromaticity, as well as a great softness and finesse.

Ideal wine to serve with dry pastries and chocolate, it is perfect together with medium-long aged cheeses.
