Description
The Póker de Blancos from Encomienda de Cervera is produced in the heart of the Macizo Volcánico del Campo de Calatrava. This white wine is the result of an original blend of four European varieties: Sauvignon Blanc, Albariño, Gewürztraminer, and Verdejo. The volcanic, clay, limestone, and stony soil contributes to its minerality and elegance, expressing the richness of the Almagro terroir.
The winemaking follows a careful, environmentally respectful approach, with a bio-ecological profile. The grapes are sourced from various selected European areas, aiming to achieve a complex and balanced wine. The entire production process is geared towards preserving aromatic freshness and varietal purity.
Visually, it presents a bright yellow color with golden reflections. The olfactory profile is dominated by notes of citrus and white flowers, with hints of white fruit and references to pastry. On the palate, it is energetic yet harmonious, with a persistent finish marked by tropical undertones and a notable fruity weight.
Excellent accompaniment to sushi, fish, rice, and vegetable-based dishes.
