Description
The Vulcanus Tempranillo from Encomienda de Cervera is an organic red wine originating from Campo de Calatrava, a region with a strong geological identity thanks to its volcanic origins. Produced from Tempranillo grapes grown on the slopes of an ancient volcano, it expresses a bold and authentic character, resulting from the interaction between soil, climate, and grape variety.
The winemaking process includes 4 months of aging in French oak barrels, which gives the wine structure and complexity. Cultivation follows sustainable practices in respect for the environment, adhering to the principles of bio-ecological agriculture, enhancing the uniqueness of the clayey volcanic soils.
In the glass, it reveals a deep and intense red color. On the nose, there are aromas of ripe red fruit and spices, accompanied by toasted vanilla notes derived from the wood. On the palate, it is round, with great body, easy to drink, and with a long and pleasant finish.
It pairs perfectly with traditional cuisine, particularly with meats, stews, and game.
