Description

Campari Cask Tales is a limited edition of the Campari bitter, created to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Davide Campari’s birth. It is a reinterpretation of classic Campari by master blender Bruno Malavasi, which preserves its distinctive identity while adding new aromatic and taste nuances.

The base remains the classic Campari bitter, made according to the recipe of infusing aromatic herbs, plants and fruits. The special feature of this version is the maturation in casks previously used for aging Bourbon, a spell in wood that gives the product a softer, rounder and slightly spicy profile.

On the nose, notes of vanilla, caramel and gentle smoky hints emerge, intertwining with the herbal and citrus components typical of Campari. On the palate, the original bitterness is balanced by the sweet and woody nuances picked up in cask, for a sip that is full, embracing and lingering.

Ideal enjoyed neat or in mixed drinks, it also lends itself as an ingredient for sophisticated cocktails. In 2021, it received the Gold Award at the Spirits Masters organized by The Spirits Business.
