Cassetta in legno: 1 Nebbiolo + 1 Barolo Josetta Saffiro

This box contains the two expressions of the Nebbiolo grape, diversified by processing and aging.

The production of Langhe Nebbiolo foresees a short maceration before fermenting in steel and aging for 12 months in oak barrels. With a lively garnet color, it releases to the nose it meets clear hints of dried fruit and raspberry. Very balanced on the palate, it is excellent in combination with second courses of meat, both white and red, and with medium-aged cheeses.

Barolo comes from vineyards located in the Monforte d'Alba area where soils composed of silt, sand and clay are responsible for conferring particular characteristics to the wine. Long aging of 24 months in cask and another 6 in bottle for a wine with an intense aroma of vanilla and toasted hazelnut, with references of licorice, tobacco and blackberry. Of great structure and charm, with well-polished tannins. It goes well with braised meats, game and all main courses based on red meat. Unmatched when paired with a platter of aged cheeses.
