Cava DO Musso Casa Rojo

The Spumante Brut Cava of the Musso line of Casa Rojo comes from the vineyards located in Villafranca del Penedés, a municipality in the Catalonia region, located between Barcelona and Newfoundland.

It is produced with only Macabeu grapes, the main grape variety for sparkling wine on Spanish soil, harvested in the second half of September. The wine is aged in the bottle for at least 9 months, thus inducing the refermentation through the introduction of selected sugars and yeasts, according to the traditional champenoise method .

It has a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with pleasant hints of ripe fruit, with delicate hints of cedar and hints of brioche, due to the permanence on the lees. On the palate it offers a pleasant and lively freshness accompanied by a lasting flavor.

Ideal to be served during aperitifs and appetizers, it is excellent with shellfish dishes.
