Description
Cava Brut Reserva Agusti Torello Mata is a Classic Method produced with Macabeo grapes and is produced near Sant Sadurni d'Anoia, the productive heart of the Penedès region.
With a climate mitigated by the presence of the Mediterranean and perfect ripening conditions of the grapes, the wine ferments in French oak barrels for 6 months in contact with its own yeasts, and then continues an ageing in the bottle, always in contact with the yeasts, at 17 °C.
Golden yellow in colour, it has a fine and persistent perlage with a generous froth. Hints of cooked fruit, brioche and toasted notes present a beautiful olfactory harmony to the nose. The sip is creamy and structured, with a long persistence.
It is the perfect sparkling wine for oysters and other shellfish, with smoked meat, as well as with aged cheeses.
