Description

The Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico of Valle dell'Acate was born in vineyards located in the Ragusa area of Acate, in the heart of Eastern Sicily.

It is mainly produced with Nero d'Avola and Frappato grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. After traditional red vinification, the wine ages for 12 months in barrels and tonneaux, followed by a further aging period of at least 9 months.

This Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico is characterized by an intense and brilliant cherry red color. The nose opens with evident hints of red fruits and ripe cherry, with hints of vanilla, licorice and cocoa. On the palate it is harmonious and aromatic, with silky tannins that accompany towards a persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany spicy dishes and aged cheeses, it is ideal in combination with white meats and game.
