Description

Gilbert Picq's Chablis is born in vineyards located in the prestigious wine-growing region of Chablis, in Burgundy.

It is produced entirely with Chardonnay grapes, harvested by hand between the end of September and the beginning of October. Fermentation takes place for a long time in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature ranging from 18-20 ° C up to 24-25 ° C developed in the final stages of the process. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in steel on the fine lees for 8-12 months before being bottled.

It is characterized by a golden yellow color, with green reflections. The nose opens with fresh floral aromas of hawthorn and lemongrass, enriched by pleasant fruity notes of peach. On the palate it is mineral and decisive, with a dense and fragrant finish characterized by notes of almond and hazelnut.

Perfect to accompany shellfish and seafood, it is ideal in combination with white meats and fresh cheeses.
